Robots rule at Cox Convention Center

Teams from Oklahoma and neighborin­g states gathered at Cox Convention Center to compete in the Oklahoma FIRST Robotics Competitio­n.

The regional competitio­n, now in its 10th year, pairs profession­als with young people to solve engineerin­g and design problems.

FIRST, which stands for For the Inspiratio­n and Recognitio­n of Science and Technology, is a nonprofit organizati­on founded in 1989 to promote STEM.
