High­ways to nar­row this week for con­struc­tion projects

Sev­eral busy high­ways will nar­row through­out the week as part of on­go­ing con­struc­tion projects, ac­cord­ing to the Ok­la­homa De­part­ment of Trans­porta­tion.

Lanes of the I-40 Crosstown, be­tween the In­ter­state 35/In­ter­state 235 Dal­las Junc­tion and Shields Boule­vard, will be af­fected. East­bound I-40 will be nar­rowed to one lane from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Wed­nes­day and west­bound I-40 will be will be nar­rowed to two lanes 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Thurs­day.

The I-40 on-ramp from Shields Boule­vard will re­main open.

I-35 at U.S. 77/Sec­ond Street in Ed­mond to NE 122 will be nar­rowed nightly through next year. Mo­torists are en­cour­aged to find an al­ter­nate route. South­bound I-35 will be in­ter­mit­tently nar­rowed to one lane be­tween Me­mo­rial Road and U.S. 77/ Sec­ond Street from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. nightly through Satur­day morn­ing.

The left lane of south­bound I-35 will be closed be­tween Wil­shire Boule­vard and NE 63 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Wed­nes­day.

South­bound N Lincoln Boule­vard will be nar­rowed to one lane at NE 48 nightly Tues­day through Fri­day from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m.
