OSU basketball signs Duncan Demuth
Duncan Demuth, a 6-foot-8 forward from the Tampa suburb of Seminole, has signed a letter of intent to play basketball at Oklahoma State. Demuth was rated the No. 28 player in Florida by floridahoops. com and last season made the All-Tampa Bay team.
“We’re very excited about Duncan because he’s extremely versatile from a basketball standpoint, and he has a tremendous work ethic,” OSU coach Mike Boynton said. “Duncan is a do-it-all type player, and he has a terrific upside in terms of his ability to develop his offensive game. I love that Duncan has strong fundamentals, and he’s a guy who can be a versatile defender for us. He can guard the perimeter as well as the rim because of his length and athleticism.”
Demuth also received scholarship offers from Florida State, Iowa State, South Carolina, UMass, South Florida and Princeton.
Demuth joins Yor Anei as 2018 Cowboy basketball signees. A 6-11 forward, Anei was listed by 247Sports.com as the No. 1 player in Kansas following his junior season.
