Man ar­rested in connection with stab­bing death

A 36-year-old man has been ar­rested in connection with a Sun­day stab­bing death in north­east Ok­la­homa City.

About 7:20 a.m. on Sun­day, po­lice were called to a home in the 1500 block of NE 39, where they found a man who had been stabbed. Po­lice said the man, who has not been iden­ti­fied, was taken to a hospi­tal, where he died.

On Mon­day, po­lice learned a man wanted in connection with the stab­bing death was at a store near Mel­rose Lane and Rock­well Av­enue. A traf­fic stop was ini­ti­ated, and of­fi­cers ar­rested Christo­pher Lind.

Lind is be­ing held with­out bail on a mur­der com­plaint at the Ok­la­homa County jail.

Lind has served time in prison for drug pos­ses­sion and dis­tri­bu­tion and was on pro­ba­tion for cases in Tulsa County at the time of his ar­rest, ac­cord­ing to Ok­la­homa De­part­ment of Cor­rec­tions records.

Po­lice also are look­ing for Gina Nunez, 39, in connection with the man’s death. In­ves­ti­ga­tors said Nunez, who lived at the home, was “di­rectly in­volved” in the killing and “set up” the as­sault, ac­cord­ing to a court af­fi­davit
