Man arrested in connection with stabbing death
A 36-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a Sunday stabbing death in northeast Oklahoma City.
About 7:20 a.m. on Sunday, police were called to a home in the 1500 block of NE 39, where they found a man who had been stabbed. Police said the man, who has not been identified, was taken to a hospital, where he died.
On Monday, police learned a man wanted in connection with the stabbing death was at a store near Melrose Lane and Rockwell Avenue. A traffic stop was initiated, and officers arrested Christopher Lind.
Lind is being held without bail on a murder complaint at the Oklahoma County jail.
Lind has served time in prison for drug possession and distribution and was on probation for cases in Tulsa County at the time of his arrest, according to Oklahoma Department of Corrections records.
Police also are looking for Gina Nunez, 39, in connection with the man’s death. Investigators said Nunez, who lived at the home, was “directly involved” in the killing and “set up” the assault, according to a court affidavit
