The Oklahoman’s prep writers highlight some of the best slowpitch softball players in the Oklahoma City area this spring.

Here are some slowpitch softball players from around the Oklahoma City area to watch this spring:

Kailey Gamble, So., Westmoore: The outfielder and first baseman had a smashing freshman season, batting .606 with six home runs, 12 doubles and 58 RBIs.

Anna Hammer, Sr., Mustang: A key part of the Broncos’ fastpitch title run, she’s one of the few seniors playing this spring. She brings a powerful bat to the young team.

Delanie Manning, Jr., Dale: The most feared slowpitch hitter in the state, Manning enters the spring with 61 homers and 201 RBIs in just two seasons. Last year, she had 45 homers and 131 RBIs.

Karli Petty, Jr., Southmoore: Outfielder already holds the school’s single-season and career records for triples. She’s also has a schoolrecord .640 career average.

Roxanne Sarrington, Sr., Moore: She’s already off to a good start this spring, driving in seven runs behind a homer and double in last week’s win over rival Westmoore.
