Spend a night at the museum

KINGFISHER — The Chisholm Trail Museum will host its first urban campout Aug. 4-5 at the museum, 605 Zellers Ave.

Campers can begin arriving at 6 p.m. Aug. 4, and the campout will end at 9 a.m. Aug. 5.

During this family friendly event, participants may spread out their bedrolls on the museum grounds and participate in activities such as dancing, traditional games, music, storytelling and roasting hot dogs and s’mores. Campers should dress for the weather and bring a lawn chair.

Registration is required, and one adult chaperone is needed for every six children. The cost is $3 per person, or $15 per family.
