OKC man charged in four killings

A sus­pect in four fa­tal shoot­ings was charged Fri­day with four counts of first-de­gree mur­der and 10 counts of rob­bery with a firearm.

Mario James Nor­more, 27, was ar­rested last year, ac­cused of two bank rob­beries and eight busi­ness rob­beries in Ok­la­homa City. The rob­beries oc­curred be­tween Au­gust and Oc­to­ber 2017.

Last month, Nor­more, a known Rollin’ 20s gang mem­ber, was con­nected to four 2017 homi­cides in Ok­la­homa City, in­ves­ti­ga­tors re­ported. An uniden­ti­fied wit­ness told de­tec­tives that Nor­more con­fessed to com­mit­ting the crimes.

He is ac­cused of killing Bashar Burks, 27, and Ash­ley Eas­ton, 30, in July 2017, Searra Howe, 21, in Au­gust 2017 and James Knowles, 57, in Oc­to­ber 2017. The body of the last vic­tim has not been found, po­lice said.

Nor­more is charged in Ok­la­homa County Dis­trict Court.
