UCO groups spon­sor Ed­mond Pride event

Ed­mond Pride, the city’s first LGBTQ fes­ti­val, will be from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 20 in E.C. Hafer Park, 1034 S Bryant Ave. The event is be­ing pre­sented by stu­dent and fac­ulty groups at the Univer­sity of Cen­tral Ok­la­homa.

The fam­ily-friendly fes­ti­val will in­clude a va­ri­ety of ven­dors, en­ter­tain­ment and food trucks. It is open to all UCO and com­mu­nity mem­bers. Ad­mis­sion is free.

Fea­tured en­ter­tain­ment in­cludes Trin­ity Tay­lor, a fi­nal­ist on sea­son nine of “RuPaul’s Drag Race,” and host Car­men Dev­er­aux, crowned Miss Gay Ok­la­homa Amer­ica 2015.
