His­toric Preser­va­tion Work­shop

ONEIDA » Oneida Com­mu­nity Mansion House will host a his­toric preser­va­tion work­shop, “Brick and Mor­tar: Cliff Notes for a Suc­cess­ful Ma­sonry Re­pair Project” with Scott Lupini of Lupini Con­struc­tion on Satur­day, Sept. 9. The work­shop will address the four main pro­cesses of re­pair: to iden­tify, in­ves­ti­gate, doc­u­ment, and ex­e­cute. Lupini Con­struc­tion is noted for its restora­tion work through­out the re­gion, in­clud­ing projects at West Point Mil­i­tary Academy, the New York State Fair­grounds, Hamil­ton Col­lege and Syra­cuse Univer­sity. The work­shop will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Work­shop tu­ition is $40; OCMH mem­bers are dis­counted to $30. Ad­vance reg­is­tra­tion is re­quired.
