HAMIL­TON, N.Y. » The Lo­cal Mu­sic Project wel­comes Kurt Reymer and the San­guine Pen­guins on Tues­day, Feb. 20, for a night of mu­sic.

Start­ing at 7 p.m. will be “Drum­mis,” com­poser Kurt Reymers’s take on im­pro­vi­sa­tional elec­tronic dance mu­sic. Reymer uses an elec­tric gui­tar, elec­tronic drums, loop­ing pedal and other in­stru­ments to cre­ate ex­cit­ing com­po­si­tions. His mu­sic can be heard at www.drum­mis.com.

At 8 p.m., The San­guine Pen­guins re­turn for a sec­ond visit to the LMP. Com­prised of Hamil­ton na­tive Tai­ward Wider with his friends Robert and Marisa Sher­wood, the Berklee Col­lege of Mu­sic trio will en­ter­tain with a va­ri­ety of orig­i­nal tunes and cov­ers on gui­tar, man­dolin, and cello with 3-part vo­cal har­monies.

The Lo­cal Mu­sic Project pro­vides a venue where top lo­cal am­a­teur mu­si­cians can play a full con­cert for an at­ten­tive au­di­ence. All shows be­gin at 7 p.m. at Num­ber 10 Tav­ern in Hamil­ton. A do­na­tion is sug­gested. For more in­for­ma­tion, call 824-1094.
