The Sanguine Penguins to perform
HAMILTON, N.Y. » The Local Music Project welcomes Kurt Reymer and the Sanguine Penguins on Tuesday, Feb. 20, for a night of music.
Starting at 7 p.m. will be “Drummis,” composer Kurt Reymers’s take on improvisational electronic dance music. Reymer uses an electric guitar, electronic drums, looping pedal and other instruments to create exciting compositions. His music can be heard at www.drummis.com.
At 8 p.m., The Sanguine Penguins return for a second visit to the LMP. Comprised of Hamilton native Taiward Wider with his friends Robert and Marisa Sherwood, the Berklee College of Music trio will entertain with a variety of original tunes and covers on guitar, mandolin, and cello with 3-part vocal harmonies.
The Local Music Project provides a venue where top local amateur musicians can play a full concert for an attentive audience. All shows begin at 7 p.m. at Number 10 Tavern in Hamilton. A donation is suggested. For more information, call 824-1094.
