Road Rally through scenic Madison County
Inaugural fundraiser to support Community Action Partnership
The inaugural road race will support Community Action Partnership of Madison County programs.
The Community Action Partnership will host its first ever Road Rally at the CAP office on New Market Road in Canastota on Saturday, May 19, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Participants will follow a surprise route to find clues on scenic Madison County roads, discovering interesting sites and picturesque byways. Clues are to be photographed (with phone or other digital camera) or noted. The route should take approximately one hour to complete.
Some classic cars may be participating and will be on display at the office site in Canastota.
Registration is at 9 a.m. with flag off shortly after. Lunch, music and prizes are from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
A registration fee of $20 includes lunch for two, souve- nir bag and raffle tickets. Extra lunch tickets can be purchased for $10 a ticket. All proceeds of this event support CAP for Madison County, a nonprofit local organization that helps individuals and families in Central New York to build better lives and stronger communities.
For registration forms and any questions, call the CAP office at 315 697-3588.
