In true diner fashion, t he number o f o f f e r i ngs was overwhelming, as we had the option of ordering breakfast or lunch in early afternoon. I chose breakfast, and my mushroom, bacon and cheddar cheese omelette ($7.95), served with my choice of potatoes or grits and toast, was exceptional. The omelette was fresh and brimming with mushrooms and cheddar, while the cheesy grits were a taste treat. The toast had a little more butter than I’d like, but I slathered it with jelly and ate it anyway. A friend ordered blackened mahi ($10.95) and found it fresh and nicely seasoned, served with rice or fries and a vegetable.

Wi d e v a r i e t y o f t a s t y homemade food at reasonable prices, all in a comfortable atmosphere.

Fast and accommodating. Our waitress was pleasant and quick to refifill drinks.

Music played softly in the background, and nearby diners were quiet.

Children have their own menu of such favorites as grilled cheese, pancakes, burgers, hot dogs, chicken fifingers and spaghetti.
