What does Fund­ing Work­ing Fam­i­lies do?

Fund­ing Work­ing Fam­i­lies pro­vides va­ca­tions for work­ing fam­i­lies who sim­ply can­not af­ford one. Once the bills are paid and food is on the ta­ble, there is no dis­pos­able in­come for the fam­i­lies to take a va­ca­tion. We pro­vide an all-ex­pens­e­s­pai d t r i p t o Walt Di s ney World so that the fam­i­lies can re­lax and bond while cre­at­ing won­der­ful memo r i e s . Thi s g i f t prov i d e s i nspi r a t i on f or t he f a mi­lies to keep plug­ging away and know that peo­ple care about them. How does your agency ben­e­fit the com­mu­nity? Fund­ing Work­ing Fam­i­lies benef i t s wo r king fam­i­lies in the commu n i t y b y giv­ing them an op­por­tu­nity to have s o me f a mily f un and take a break from the daily gr i nd of try­ing to make e n d s m e e t . We want th­ese fam­i­lies to be in­spired to keep striv­ing for suc­cess. This ben­e­fits the en­tire com­mu­nity by help­ing those fam­i­lies work­ing and liv­ing on low wages to stay pos­i­tive, fo­cused and mo­ti­vated to con­tinue car­ing for each other and push­ing for a bet­ter life. What i s your a ge nc y ’s fo­cus for the fu­ture?

Fund­ing Work­ing Fami l i e s ’ fo­cus for 2 018 i s to in­crease the num­ber of fam­i­lies we send on va­ca­tion as well as in­crease our spon­sor­ships. How can the com­mu­nity help?

We also need an Or­lando ho­tel that pro­vides a shut­tle to Dis­ney World to spon­sor l odg­ing for our f amili es . We are a 501(c)(3) non­profit s o a l l donati ons a re t a xd­e­ductible. To pro­vide in­spir­ing theme park va­ca­tions for un­der­priv­i­leged chil­dren and their hard­work­ing fam­i­lies.
