Walls and décor are pastel blue, green and peach, and ceiling-to-floor windows give diners an up-close view of the teeming St. Lucie River below. A large square bar sits in the heart of the action, and families can dine in a kid-friendly room with video games, toys, cartoons on the TV and arcade games while still enjoying a riverfront view.

Sun.-Thurs., 8 a.m.-10 p.m.; Fri.-Sat., 8 a.m.-midnight. fries ($15.99) was a delightful version of an old favorite, loaded with coconut breading and fried to a crispy brown exterior. The Texas burger ($11.49) was a huge beef patty loaded with bacon, cheddar and barbecue sauce and topped with an onion ring. We ate slowly, soaking in every minute of the glorious view.
