KEY PROGRAMS BRIDGES of Lake Worth West program:
provides parent-child programming, including Triple P, parenting workshops, and school readiness assistance, as well as help with signing up for Medicaid, food stamps and other financial assistance available for our residents. The program aims to increase healthy births; prevent and reduce child abuse and neglect; prepare children so they are ready to learn when they start school; and ensure children are at grade level by the time they reach third grade.
offer homework assistance, after-school activities, summer day camps, and special events, as well as a college prep club, which is opened to high school students and geared to strengthen their academics and help them get into the right college and launch their college and career experience.
visit homes to promote verbal interaction, parent-child bonding, and school readiness skills for young children. The program focuses on making sure children enter school ready to succeed because their parents have the knowledge and resources to build school readiness where it starts: the home.
offer childbirth classes, family educational workshops, and English language workshops meant to develop literacy skills and knowledge about health and wellness.
