BOYNTON BEACH POLICE
A woman in the 500 blo ck of Southeast 2 3rd Avenue was entertaining a friend for dinner. When the friend left, the woman discovered her keys and her vehicle missing. She told police her vehicle was unregistered. She could not provide information about her friend.
FLEEING AND ELUDING
A motorcyclist speeding on High Ridge Road did not stop for police when signaled to do so. Instead, he continued on until he hit a curb at Hypoluxo Road and I-95. He was arrested, taken to a hospital for minor scrapes, then to the county jail.
A woman returned home from vacation to find a door open at her residence in the 800 block of Southwest Fifth Court. It appeared someone kicked in the door, leaving a dent in it. Nothing inside the home was missing or disturbed.
A $500 hedge trimmer was taken from a vehicle in the first block of Northeast 28th Court. The burglar broke the driver’s side window.
Police found am an inside a construction site in the 200 block of South Seacrest Boulevard. In his possession were a sc ale, grinders, 15.5 grams of pot along with several small bags of pot. He was charged with possession of marijuana with intent to sell and taken to the county jail During a traffic stop in the 3800 block of North Congress Avenue, a motorist was found in possession of 3.5 grams of heroin and 239 Xanax pills. She was arrested and taken to the county jail.
LOITERING AND PROWLING
Two juveniles were found parked in a handicapaccessible spot in Boynton Lakes Park at 3:14 a.m. The youths, who were sweating profusely, were found in possession of gloves and flashlights. Both were dressed in black. Police suspected the two were planning burglaries in the neighborhood. They were taken to the Juvenile Assessment Center.
