MENU

Judy’s Cheese & Wine Café ser ve s cheese and wine, along with sandwiches, salads, soups and daily specials such as pasta. The most expensive item on the menu is a cheese board for $16.95. Half a dozen varieties of beer are available, and the café serves kombucha, the trendy probiotic drink.

ATMOSPHERE

Cozy. The café is a mix of c arry- out spot and sitdown restaurant located at the front of The Moorings condo development. There are a few tables inside and more on the sidewalk along Dixie Highway.

OUR FAVORITE FOOD/PRICE

Every thing was good. I liked the Indian rice bowl ( $ 1 1 .95) , which i ncl uded curry chicken and feta cheese atop basmati rice. We also tried the Caesar salad with chicken ($14.95).

REASON TO GO

Tasty food, pleasant vibes and a unique menu.

SERVICE

F r i e n d l y. O u r s e r v e r changed the television channel for us, and when I mentioned we were visiting on my wife’s birthday, she brought a piece of cheesecake free of charge.

NOISE LEVEL

Quiet. Music played in the dining room, but we could carry on a conversation. The outdoor tables are close to Dixie Highway, so the traffic noise can be loud.

KID FRIENDLY

Yes and no. The casual atmosphere is good for kids, but the fare is a bit sophisticated for children’s palates.

CONTRIBUTED

Judy’s Cheese & Wine Café is a mix of casual café and sit-down restaurant, located in The Moorings condo development in Lantana.
