KEY PROGRAMS Visual Arts Community Classes and Artist-inResidence Programs:
Four to six-week inclusive programs are open to teen and adults, while visual art residences are offered to children and adults at select agencies, schools and group homes. Programs include digital art and photography, pottery and sculpture, jewelry, glass fusing, mixed media, abstract, watercolor and classical painting, drawing and cartooning.
Participants have opportunities to showcase their talents to the community and sell their artwork through traveling exhibits and local arts festivals.
Four to 10-week inclusive programs open to teens and adults living in Palm Beach County. Programs include community theater, dance and music, and improv. Programs usually culminate in a performance.
At selected Palm Beach County schools, teaching artists work hands- on with students in the classroom. Programs include drama, dance and world percussion.
Held at the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center in Belle Glade, this is a series of participatory workshops, art exhibits and performances, serving more than 400 children with and without disabilities.
These summer and winter shows feature artwork created throughout the year and performances from performing arts groups.
