Some more about moringa trees

The Palm Beach Post - Residences - - Front Page -

Since writing last week about moringa trees, I have had many calls and e-mails about this little tree and its powers. You can buy them on Ama (Coincidentally, they actually come from Brazil’s Amazon Rain Forest.)

I was introduced to them back in the 1950s and grew them for awhile when I lived in Cuba. I was fascinated by the seeds and their properties, and also the power of the leaves when you chewed them.

They are said to have all the healing powers of many trees wrapped all into one little “drumstick tree .”

Yes, the drumstick tree is the moringa; it can grow as tall or short as you like.

I bought my moringa seedlings on Ama and they are doing well.
