Jupiter bro­ker ap­pointed to Florida Real Es­tate Com­mis­sion

MI­AMI As­so­ci­a­tion of REALTORS® mem­ber and Jupiter bro­ker

has been named to the Florida Real Es­tate Com­mis­sion, which ad­min­is­ters and en­forces real es­tate li­cense law. Fitzger­ald is a past pres­i­dent of the statewide Florida Realtors as­so­ci­a­tion and is cur­rently a real es­tate bro­ker as­so­ciate and man­ager for Il­lus­trated Prop­er­ties in Hobe Sound.

Gov­er­nor Rick Scott an­nounced Fitzger­ald’s ap­point­ment on Feb. 5. Fitzger­ald, of Jupiter, will suc­ceed Roger En­zor. The Florida Real Es­tate Com­mis­sion con­sists of seven mem­bers and meets monthly. The Florida Se­nate must con­firm the ap­point­ment. “It’s very ex­cit­ing and re­ward­ing to be ful­fill­ing this po­si­tion at this time in my ca­reer,” Fitzger­ald said. “I’ve spent al­most 40 years in the real es­tate busi­ness, and serv­ing on the Florida Real Es­tate Com­mis­sion is the ul­ti­mate ser­vice to my pro­fes­sion and the cit­i­zens of Florida.”

Fitzger­ald is a long­time mem­ber of the JupiterTe­questa-Hobe-Sound as­so­ci­a­tion, which is now a part of the MI­AMI As­so­ci­a­tion of REALTORS® (MI­AMI). The Florida Realtors’ 2013 Realtor of the Year, Fitzger­ald has served on many real es­tate com­mit­tees and projects.
