TV QUESTIONS

The Palm Beach Post - TV Post - - Front Page - By JAY BOBBIN

Q: My brother says that on Grey’s Anatomy Derek and Meredith are legally married. I say they never went beyond a “Post-it” wedding, despite the fact that others refer to them as husband and wife. Who’s right? — Terry Feldman, Central Islip, N.Y.

A: The vows on the Post-it note are as solid as “marriage” has gotten for the couple — played on the ABC series by Patrick Dempsey and Ellen Pompeo — as of this writing. That symbol of their unity happened at Seattle Grace Hospital in a May 2009 episode of the series, but they still haven’t gotten wed legally.

Q: I always enjoyed Julie Banderas’ presentation of the Fox News Channel evening news on Saturdays and Sundays. Why is there now a substitute for her? — Milo Schaub, Fort Pierce

A: Banderas has been reassigned as a reporter in the New York bureau of Fox News.

Q: Are there any more Jason Bourne movies in the making? — John Chamberland, O’Fallon, Ill.

A: While the three made by Matt Damon continue to get frequent plays on such cable networks as TNT and USA, a fourth one titled The Bourne Legacy — with another actor assuming the Bourne role — is in the works for a projected summer 2012 release. No one had been signed to play Bourne yet at the time of this writing, but many performers have been rumored to be inheriting the part. Among them are Jake Gyllenhaal, Tobey Maguire, Josh Hartnett, Chris Evans, Alex Pettyfer and Michael Fassbender.

Q: When will Leverage return? — Joy Dunn, Corpus Christi, Texas

A: The fourth season of the Timothy Hutton-starring TNT series returns on June 26.

Q: I’ve noticed that all of Lynette Scavo’s children on Desperate Housewives have names starting with a P: Porter, Preston, Parker and Penny. Somehow, I missed the new baby’s name. Can you help me out? — Debbie Hill, Port Washington, Wis.

A: Paige ... so the Scavo “P” dynasty remains intact.
