Salvatore DiQuattro of Greenacres, FL, passed away peacefully in his sleep at the home of his daughter in Kew Garden, NY on October 1, 2017. He was born in New York City on May 7, 1932 to Paolo and Grace DiQuattro. He served in the Army from 1951-1953 and worked for Verizon until he retired in 1991. He was passionate about food, wine, women, Billy Holliday, old movies and the Giants. He was a gifted story teller with a great sense of humor, charming and witty especially around women. He made no excuses for the way he lived and told it exactly the way he saw it. He is survived by his children, Kim DiQuattro, Cathy Kroopf, Paolo DiQuattro, and 8 grandchildren and his two cats, Chip and Stumpy. A Memorial Service and burial will be held on October 14 at 10:00AM at St. Charles Cemetery, Farmingdale, NY.
