Hospital receives ‘A’ for patient safety
Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, 3360 Burns Road, received an “A” in Leapfrog’s Hospital Safety Grade, which uses 30 measures of publicly available hospital safety data to assign grades to more than 2,600 hospitals twice a year.
You can view all of the criteria and results at hospitalsafetygrade.org by searching for Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center. Leapfrog rated hospitals in categories such as infections, problems with surgery, practices to prevent errors, safety problems and hospital staff.
“At Palm Beach Gardens Medical Center, we continuously strive to maintain the highest standards for patient safety, and it’s gratifying to be recognized for those efforts,” CEO Dianne Goldenberg said in a news release.
