5 rescued after boat capsizes off inlet
Five men were plucked from the water Sunday afternoon after their boat capsized in the Atlantic Ocean about 3 miles east of the Lake Worth Inlet, the U.S. Coast Guard reported.
After receiving a call about a capsized vessel from the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office, rescue crews at about 3:30 p.m. found the five men clinging to their 26-foot pleasure boat, officials reported. The men were taken to the Lake Park Marina where they received emergency medical treatment.
Information was not immediately available about the condition of the men or what caused the boat to capsize.
