Trump’s parade is a baffling ego trip

The Pentagon has announced that it will give President Donald Trump his military parade on Veterans Day this year. The White House budget chief has estimated that the parade could cost taxpayers $30 million.

I, for one, find it disgusting and completely selfish behavior on the president’s part to ignore the more than 47,000 homeless veterans in our country. Do you think the money could be better spent on giving shelter and housing to some of those 47,000 homeless veterans?

President Trump doesn’t; he thinks it should be spent to massage his enormous ego.

The ultimate insult to our homeless, and all veterans? The parade will focus on the contributions of our veterans throughout history. What better way to thank our homeless veterans than to have a huge, useless parade for our egotistical wannabe dictator?

I hope enough sensible citizens will speak out against this and it will be canceled.
