Spend summer ‘on the farm’: Families can get hands-on agricultur­al experience from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Friday through July 27 with City Kids on the Farm at Yesteryear Village at the South Florida Fairground­s, 9067 Southern Blvd.

Attendees will be “immersed in agricultur­e” and participat­e in activities including seed necklace making, gardening, horse grooming and candle making. Activities vary by day and depending on weather. Groups of 10 or more will have a guided tour, and groups of fewer than 10 will have a self-guided tour. Bring a picnic lunch.

The cost is $10 for ages 12 and older, $7 for ages 65 and older, $7 for ages 6 to 11 and free for children younger than age 5. Cost for school groups of 10 or more is $5 per student and $10 for adults, with one teacher per 10 students. Wednesday green market: Grab some locally grown produce or handmade wares at Royal Palm Beach’s weekly Wednesday green market, 4 to 7:30 p.m. Wednesdays at Veterans Park, 1036 Royal Palm Beach Blvd. The afternoon green market and bazaar is each Wednesday (except July 4) through Sept. 26, with the weekly Sunday green market resuming soon after. Food trucks at the amphitheat­er: Wellington’s weekly food trucks and free concert series this week features a 1980s music tribute from On the Roxx. Food trucks will be at the Wellington Amphitheat­er, 12100 Forest Hill Blvd., from 5 to 9:30 p.m. with the concert beginning at 6:30 p.m. Bring your own seating. More amphitheat­er activities: Wellington will have a free movie Friday and a free concert Saturday at its amphitheat­er, 12100 Forest Hill Blvd. The free movie is “Leap!” (PG) and it begins at 8:30 p.m. The free concert will be from Three Dog Night tribute Celebrate and begin at 8 p.m. Bring your own seating for each event.
