Vi­ola Condo “Vi” (née Yolanda Marie Si­mon­etta) died peace­fully at Foun­tain­view As­sisted Liv­ing in West Palm Beach, Florida at the age of 105 on Oc­to­ber 10, 2018. She is sur­vived by her sons Alan J. Condo and his wife Nancy of Fort Mill, SC and Peter Condo of Al­bany, NY and ten grand­chil­dren, sev­eral great­grand­chil­dren and great-great­grand­chil­dren. She was pre­ceded in death by her par­ents, Joseph and Rosina Si­mon­etta, her hus­band An­thony V. Condo and her son An­thony J. Condo. Vi­ola was born in Italy on July 7, 1913 moved to Al­bany, NY at the age of 7. She mar­ried her hus­band An­thony "Tony" in 1933. To­gether they op­er­ated Condo’s Sec­ond Ave. Su­perette in Al­bany, NY from 1945 and re­tired in 1973 and moved to West Palm Beach FL. She was an ac­com­plished home­maker and gar­dener and craftswoman. She knit­ted and do­nated over 200 chil­dren’s sweaters that were do­nated to charity. Vi was an ac­tive and ded­i­cated mem­ber of St. Ju­liana’s Catholic Church and sang in their choir for many years. A view­ing is sched­ule for Tues­day, Oc­to­ber 16, 2018, from 9:00AM to 10:00AM at Qu­at­tle­baum Fu­neral Home, 5411 Okee­chobee Blvd, West Palm Beach, FL. Fol­lowed by a fu­neral ser­vice at St. Ju­liana Catholic Church at 11:00AM and a burial at Wood­lawn Ceme­tery to fol­low. All are wel­come to at­tend and cel­e­brate Vi­ola’s life.
