Three arrested for retail theft at outlets

Limerick Police have arrested three women in relation to a shopliftin­g incident in August.

Lakisha Hayes, 38, of Philadelph­ia, Tashena Speights, 40, of Philadelph­ia and Chanelle Wilson, 25, of Philadelph­ia, were arrested last week after police were called to the scene.

Limerick Police said in a Facebook post that they were called to the Philadelph­ia Premium Outlets, 18 West Lightcap Road, on Aug. 31 for a report of a retail theft by three women. Upon arrival, Officer McGuigan and Officer Murphy were able to locate the three women attempting to leave in a vehicle, police said.

Speights and Hayes were found to already have active arrest warrants for retail theft, according to police.

Hayes, Speights and Wilson are being charged with retail theft and related charges. Speights is scheduled for a preliminar­y hear-

ing on Sept. 28 before District Judge Scott Palladino and Hayes and Wilson will face preliminar­y hearings on Sept. 22 before District Judge Walter Gadzicki. Bail was set at $5,000 for Hayes and Wilson and bail was set at $2,500 for Speights, according to court documents.
