121st Detwiler Family Reunion

- — Submitted by Sandy Detwiler Lusch

Descendants of Henry and Catherine Detwiler who alongwith their 12 children, began the reunion in 1897, once again met to continue the tradition at Camp Innabah, Pughtown on Aug. 19. Family members brought items for the display depicting the theme “Family” Books to Share. Young and old alike joined together for the group family photo, with the quilt made by Martha Weed for the 100th Reunion, used as backdrop. A water “Slip and Slide” was enjoyed by the younger family members, along with crafts to make and take home. Eric Fetters presented an interactive scavenger hunt and door prizes were given out. Dick Lusch gave a Historians report and an update on the Detwiler website. A business meeting was held with closing remarks by President Sandy Lusch. Officers were elected for the incoming year.
