Com­mu­nity Day: The Ki­wa­nis Club of Phoenixville will spon­sor its an­nual Com­mu­nity Day Satur­day, Oct. 7, in Reeves Park. The rain date is Satur­day, Oct. 14. The perime­ter of the park will be filled with a va­ri­ety of ven­dors, in­clud­ing a flea mar­ket, new items, crafts and com­mu­nity groups. Chil­dren’s games and ac­tiv­i­ties and food ven­dors will be lo­cated within the park. En­ter­tain­ment will take place through­out the day at the band­shell. In ad­di­tion, lo­cal fire com­pa­nies will bring their trucks and equipment to dis­play on Main Street be­tween Sec­ond and Third av­enues. Ven­dors will be set up by 8a.m. All other ac­tiv­i­ties will be­gin at 9a.m. All ac­tiv­i­ties con­clude at 3p.m. The cost to rent a stand for ven­dors is $15if paid by Oct. 5. After that date, the cost is $20. The cost for food ven­dors is $75. In ad­di­tion, food ven­dors are re­spon­si­ble for ob­tain­ing a Tem­po­rary Event Li­cense from the Ch­ester County Health De­part­ment.
