There's no such thing as gun violence

The Progress-Index Weekend - - OPINION -

Let's get something straight once and for all to those who believe otherwise. There is no such thing as gun violence, knife violence, baseball bat violence, steel pipe violence, etc. etc. These are inanimate objects that will not move or harm anyone until someone lays hands on them to move them and harm someone with them. The only difference here is fist violence and foot violence as these are animate objects and are always under the control of the people who possess them. All of us.

Let's stop using catch phrases to define something that does not exist. The proper phrase to use is people violence, which is killing and harming people in Richmond and across the country.

Please take note Mark Herring and other Democratic leaders in Virginia and across the country.
