Ms. Josephine Peale of Dewitt Vir­ginia en­tered into eter­nal rest on Tues­day, Oc­to­ber 31, 2017 at the Jewish Fam­ily Ser­vices Cen­ter, New­port News, Vir­ginia.

Josephine resided at South­side Vir­ginia train­ing Cen­ter for many years be­fore com­ing to live at AC Moody House in Dewitt in 2009. She at­tended Brown’s Day Care Pro­gram un­til her health de­clined.

She leaves to honor her mem­ory, the staff and clients of the AC Moody House and her Au­tho­rized Rep­re­sen­ta­tive, Doretha Moody.

Home go­ing ser­vice for Ms. Josephine Peale will be on Mon­day, Novem­ber 6, 2017 at 11:00am at the chapel of J. L. Dod­son and Sons Fu­neral Es­tab­lish­ment with Bishop Ty­rone Harper,Sr., Of­fi­ci­at­ing. In­ter­ment will fol­low in the Bland­ford Ceme­tery Peters­burg, Vir­ginia. Fam­ily and friends are asked to as­sem­ble at the fu­neral home at 10:30 a.m. on the day of the ser­vice.
