Thomas “Tommy” Roland Brock­well Sr., 69, of Prince Ge­orge, passed away on Mon­day, Novem­ber 6, 2017. He was pre­ceded in death by his par­ents, Archie F. Brock­well and Ethel Brock­well Blanken­ship; step­son, Jimmy Mo­ran; brother-in-law, Rod­ney Touchet.

Tommy worked as a sales­man for nu­mer­ous prom­i­nent trac­tor com­pany’s for many years. Tommy grad­u­ated from Prince Ge­orge High School and was a mem­ber of Beth­le­hem Con­gre­ga­tional Church. He was a char­ter mem­ber of the Prince Ge­orge Emer­gency Crew, and was a mem­ber of Prince Ge­orge Jaycees, Bur­rowsville Ru­ri­tan Club, Hopewell Op­ti­mist Club, and past pres­i­dent of the Su­perKids Min­istries.

Tommy is sur­vived by his wife, Dorothy F. Brock­well; chil­dren, T.R. Brock­well Jr., Jackie Bart­ley, Judy Mo­ran, Joni Mo­ran; grand­chil­dren, Crys­tal Irv­ing, Jerett Brown, Bradley Brock­well; sev­eral great­grand­chil­dren; broth­ers, Franklin Brock­well (Odelia), Archie Roane Brock­well (Betty), Rus­sell Brock­well (Judy); sis­ter, Debbie Jones (Ed); and other ex­tended fam­ily and friends.

A cel­e­bra­tion of life will be held at 2 p.m. on Sun­day, Novem­ber 19, 2017, at the Bur­rowsville Ru­ri­tan Club, 17410 James River Drive, Disputanta, VA. 23842. In lieu of flow­ers me­mo­rial con­tri­bu­tions may be made to Bur­rowsville Ru­ri­tan Club in his honor.
