Bar­bara Win­field Reinen died on May 15, 2018, at Bon­avenger As­sisted Liv­ing Fa­cil­ity in Al­bany, Ore­gon, where she has resided for the past two years. She was pre­de­ceased by her par­ents, Gor­don T. and Doris J. Win­field of Petersburg, VA; sis­ter, Carol Eliot, Bethesda, Md.; and her daugh­ter, Cather­ine R. Nieder­berger. She is sur­vived by her son, Robert Reinen (Belle); grand­daugh­ters, Cyd­ney, Court­ney Reinen, Harrisburg, Ore­gon, Kris­ten Nieder­berger, Kel­ley N. Sam­mar­celli; grand­son, Daniel "Ace" (Nancy) Nieder­berger; four great-grand­chil­dren; and son-in-law, Her­bert "Rocky" Nieder­berger (Lisa), Rock­lin, Cal­i­for­nia. She is also sur­vived by her brother, Gor­don Win­field Jr. (Bruce) Win­ter­ville, NC; and sis­ter, Ann W. An­drews (Louis "Buddy") Colo­nial Heights, VA; and nu­mer­ous nieces and neph­ews. Bar­bara grad­u­ated from Petersburg High School in 1953 and Ran­dolph Ma­con Women's Col­lege. She ob­tained a Mas­ter's De­gree in Re­ha­bil­i­ta­tive Coun­sel­ing. A grave­side me­mo­rial ser­vice will be held in Bland­ford Ceme­tery, Petersburg, VA, at 11:00 AM on Satur­day, Septem­ber 15, 2018.
