2 charged with shoot­ing into car

Mother, 2 kids came un­der fire last month

PETERSBURG – Po­lice have ar­rested two men on charges stem­ming from an in­ci­dent last month in which gun­shots were fired at a ve­hi­cle with chil­dren in­side.

The Petersburg Bureau of Po­lice said mem­bers of the U. S. Mar­shal’s Fugi­tive Task Force on Tues­day ar­rested Damon L. White, 30, of Petersburg, and Rashuan D. Bradley, 27, of the 20800 block of Truth Drive in Et­trick.

White was charged with a to­tal of 17 felonies, in­clud­ing mul­ti­ple counts of at­tempted first- de­gree mur­der, shoot­ing into an oc­cu­pied ve­hi­cle, use of a firearm in the com­mis­sion of a felony and pos­ses­sion of a firearm by a con­victed felon.

Bradley was charged with 12 felony counts, in­clud­ing

mul­ti­ple counts of con­spir­acy to at­tempted first-de­gree mur­der and shoot­ing into an oc­cu­pied ve­hi­cle.

Bradley and White are be­ing held at River­side Re­gional Jail.

The charges stem from an in­ci­dent around 9:30 p.m. on Dec. 6 when two

men opened fire on a car oc­cu­pied by a mother and her three chil­dren near the in­ter­sec­tion of St. James Street and St. Mark Street.
