FIRE AND EMS OFFERING VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
CHESTERFIELD —The Chesterfield County Department of Fire and Emergency Medical Services announced Monday new volunteer opportunities for those wishing to serve their community.

Below is a brief description of each position.
Volunteer Delivery Driver – Seeking multiple volunteers to serve in this role. Expected commitment would be 6 - 8 hours/week, one day/ week (Monday - Friday). Performs work of routine difficulty in heavy-duty delivery services, moving equipment, supplies and other materials to a variety of locations throughout the county.
Non-Delivery Vehicle Driver Volunteer – Seeking multiple volunteers to serve in this role. Expected commitment would be 6 - 8 hours/week; one day/ week (Monday - Friday). Performs work of routine difficulty in operating the shuttle and movement of multi-passenger vehicles, ambulances, and fire apparatus. Transports individuals to and from designated locations.
Budget/Financial Analyst Volunteer – Seeking one or two volunteers to serve in this role. Expected commitment would be 16 - 20 hours/week (Monday - Friday) - depending on number of available volunteers, the hours could be shared. Perform work of considerable difficulty in advanced and/or highly responsible professionallevel administrative, technical and analytical duties in support of logistical resource management activities and division level programs and services.
Non-Operational Volunteer/Administrative Support – Seeking multiple volunteers to assist in the completion of tasks including but not limited to customer service, interdepartmental mail sorting and delivery, clerical and information system technology assistance.
