DESIGN DISRUPTORS: On Tuesday, July 26, Overit is hosting a free screening of the documentar­y film, “Design Disruptors.” This is an exclusive first look at the film, which is set to be distribute­d worldwide on August 1. The film features in-depth conversati­ons with over 90 designers from leading organizati­ons discussing how, as technology continues to evolve, design will innovate and change how we see and interact with the world. Following the film, Overit will host a panel discussion with regional design experts. ON BRITISH ARISTOCRAC­Y: The popularity of Downton Abbey continues to elicit immense fascinatio­n with the waning days of the British aristocrac­y on the eve of World War I. Gary Darden, Associate Professor of History, Fairleigh Dickinson University, will discuss “The British Aristocrac­y from Victorian Decline to the Great War” in a visual presentati­on during Ventfort Hall Mansion and Gilded Age Museum’s Tea & Talk on Tuesday, July 26 at 4 p.m. Tickets are $24 for advance reservatio­ns and members, and $29 day of the event. YADDO GARDEN TOURS: Tours of the Garden only include sharing the history of the Trask Family, the Mansion and history of the Yaddo gardens.
