HALFMOON - Therese Bedard, 91, of Harris Rd. died Sunday September 25, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Canada she was the daughter of the late Jean and Antoinette Thibert Begnoche. Therese was a communicant of St. Mary of the Assumption Church in Waterford. She was the widow of Armand J. Bedard and the loving mother of Rene Bedard (Sue) of Florida, John Paul Bedard (Gayle) of Durham, NC, Normand Bedard (Terry) of Halfmoon, Denis Bedard (Kathy) of Charlotte, NC and Richard Bedard (Debra) of Saratoga. She is the sister of the late Yvette Dupruis, Jeanette Gerard, Claire Duteau and Emma Ceri and proud grandmother of Christopher, Melissa, Lauren, Alyssa, Corey, Nicole, Tiffany, Laura, Aimee and Daniel and great grandmother of Alyvia, Christopher, Dylan, Cameron, Caden, Cason, Kaelynn, Dylan, Samantha, Abigail, Logan, Katlyn, Brooklyn, Breanna, Emily, Benjamin, Hannah, Mason, Riley and Elijah. Funeral services will be Thursday at 11a.m. from the Philip J. Brendese Funeral Home, 133 Broad St. (Rte.32), Waterford and at 11:30 a.m. at St. Mary of the Assumption Church. Interment will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Waterford. Relatives and friends may call at the funeral home on Thursday from 9 – 11 a.m. prior to the funeral.
