CO­HOES – Lil­lian T. Garneau La­gace, 84, of Co­hoes, passed away at Sa­mar­i­tan Hospi­tal, Troy on Mon­day, Novem­ber 13, 2017 af­ter a short ill­ness. Born in Co­hoes, she grad­u­ated from Co­hoes High School and was the daugh­ter of the late Hu­bert and Anna Hamel Garneau. She was owner and dis­patcher for Star Taxi in Co­hoes for 35 years. Lil­lian loved go­ing to the casino, scratch-offs, long drives es­pe­cially to the ocean shore and go­ing to Dis­ney World.

Wife of the late Con­rad La­gace. Mother of Conof rad (Dan­neile) La­gace of Ohio, Dean (Kathy) La­gace of Co­hoes, Mark (Pam) La­gace of Conn, Jay La­gace (Do­minique Mar­shall) North Carolina, Gary (Sha(Rudy), ron) La­gace of Glenville, Chad La­gace of Co­hoes and the late Con­rad Joseph La­gace. Grand­mother of Christo­pher (Chris­tine), Sarah, Tom, Lori Tyler, Kevin, Tasha, Josh, Karly and Joseph and great grand­mother of Caine, Blake, Shyla and Gage. Sis(Son­ter of the late Hu­bert ny) Garneau and Eu­gene Garneau, also sur­vived by nieces and neph­ews and her dog Chi Chi.

Fu­neral will be held on Fri­day, 9:00am at the Church of the Holy TrinCemthe ity, Co­hoes where a Mass of Chris­tian Burial will be cel­e­brated. In­ter­ment will fol­low in St. Joseph’s etery, Water­ford. Rel­a­tives and friends may call at DUFRESNE FU­NERAL HOME, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Co­hoes on Thurs­day from 4 to 7pm.

Those who wish to mem­ber Lil­lian in a spe­cial way may do­nate to St. Jude Chil­dren’s Re­search Hospi­tal in her mem­ory. The fam­ily would like to thank the ICU staff at Sa­mar­i­tan Hospi­tal for their care and com­pas­sion.
