Troy Turkey Trot reg­is­tra­tion now open: The an­nual 5k and 10k race on Thanks­giv­ing Day in the Col­lar City is now open. Reg­is­tra­tion for all events is cur­rently open at www. In-per­son reg­is­tra­tion along with bib and t-shirt pickup will be held at the Troy Atrium (4Third Street) Sun­day, Nov. 18from 11a.m. to 6 p.m. and Weds., Nov. 21from 11 a.m. to 6p.m. Day-of-event reg­is­tra­tion for all events will be held from 6: 30a.m. to 15min­utes prior to the start of each event on the sec­ond floor of the Troy Atrium. Par­tic­i­pants for all events will re­ceive a 71st edi­tion blended dry fit t-shirt, fin­ish­ers medal and post-event re­fresh­ments. Christo­pher Daily Turkey Trot: The 17th An­nual Christo­pher Dai­ley Turkey Trot is sched­uled for Thurs­day, Nov. 22– Thanks­giv­ing morn­ing – in Saratoga Springs. The 3.1-mile race starts at 8:30a.m. in front of City Hall on Broad­way and con­cludes on North Broad­way af­ter loop­ing through the Skid­more Col­lege cam­pus. All pro­ceeds ben­e­fit the Christo­pher Dai­ley Foun­da­tion, a Saratoga Spring- based char­i­ta­ble or­ga­ni­za­tion sup­ports lo­cal youth needs. Since 2012, the foun­da­tion has given over $500,000to more than 50 youth or­ga­ni­za­tions. Medals are awarded to the top three over­all male and fe­male fin­ish­ers. How­ever, there are more than a dozen dif­fer­ent age di­vi­sions from 11-an­dun­der to over-75. On­line reg­is­tra­tion, avail­able at christo­pher­dai­ley­foun­da­tion.com, ends on Tues­day, Nov. 20. The last chance to regis­ter in per­son is from 4-8p.m. on Wed­nes­day, Nov. 21at the Saratoga Hilton. There is no race day reg­is­tra­tion. Hosted, and run, by the Univer­sity at Al­bany men’s soc­cer coaches, par­tic­i­pants will also be eval­u­ated by ad­di­tional Di­vi­sion 1, Di­vi­sion 2, and Di­vi­sion 3coaches. The goal is to pro­vide ev­ery player a pos­i­tive ex­pe­ri­ence that not only gains them ex­po­sure to col­lege coaches, but also drives per­sonal de­vel­op­ment.
