TORRINGTON >> The Warner Theatre and the Northwest Connecticut Community College Entrepreneurial Center present “Getting Paid to Talk: Making Money with Your Voice,” on Wednesday, May 17 from 6-8:30 p.m. at the Warner Theatre. The fee for this course is $35 and it is offered to ages 18 and up.

“Getting Paid to Talk: Making Money With Your Voice” is a single-evening workshop offering an upbeat entertaining and engaging introduction to the world of voice over. From industry pros and cons to real-world examples, attendees will learn behindthe-scenes basics of both the creative and business aspects of the field in a manner that is both fun and realistic.

Each attendee will have the opportunity to record a real script under the direction of our producer right there in the classroom. Each student’s recording is then played back at the end of the session as a class finale! Instructors also provide basic voice assessment to all attendees.

To register, call the Warner Box Office at 860-489-7180 or visit warnertheatre.org.
