Theater group to host community picnic

THOMASTON — Landmark Community Theatre will hold its annual picnic on Sunday, Aug. 26, 12-5 p.m. at PB’s Bar and Grill, 180 Watertown Road, Thomaston. The event is open to all ages.

A barbeque lunch of hamburgers, hotdogs, chicken and salads will be provided along with soft drinks and water. (no outside beverages will be allowed). There will be a cash bar for adult attendees. Attendees are welcome to bring their own snacks or dessert items.

Activities will include horseshoes, volleyball, cornhole, and other group games. The event will also serve as Landmark’s first public announceme­nt for the upcoming 2019 season. Guests can participat­e in a theatre trivia game, which provides clues about upcoming production­s, and win a prize.

Anyone interested in learning about the upcoming season, getting to know the people behind the production­s, or wanting to learn more on how to get involved in LCT, are encouraged to attend.
