Constance L. Myers, formerly of Green Lane.

Constance L. “Connie” Myers, formerly of Green Lane, PA, passed away Sunday, June 25, 2017, at the Souderton Mennonite Home, Souderton, PA. She was 77.

She was the wife of the late Tyson “Roy” Myers, who passed away August 23, 2003.

Born in West Rockhill Twp., she was the daughter of the late James Charles, Jr. and Sarah (Fitzgerald) Sell. She was a 1958 graduate of Souderton High School.

Mrs. Myers worked in food service most of her life. In her early years, she was employed as a waitress for the R& S Diner, Hatfield, PA for 22 years. For the next 15 years, she worked for the Family Heritage, Harleysville, PA. She retired from the Grand View Hospital Cafeteria in 2002.

She was a lifetime member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Ridge Valley, PA.

She enjoyed boating and doing puzzles. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

She is survived by four children, Brian L. Myers and his wife Karen, of Harleysville, PA, Sherry L. Sweeney and her husband Michael, of Lansdale, PA, Denise Hoagey, of Hatfield and Vicki Freed and her husband David, of Souderton; 7 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; a brother, Larry Sell, of Las Vegas, NV; and three sisters, Christine Hostelley, and her husband Allen “Skip”, of Telford, PA, Phyllis Croissette, of Souderton, PA and Cindy Lord, of Largo, FL. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Amy Kelly, and a brother, James C. Sell, III.

Funeral services will be held at 8:00 PM on Thursday, June 29, 2017, at the Bernard Suess Funeral Home, Inc., 606 Arch Street, Perkasie, PA, where family and friends may call from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 1, 2017, in St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery, Ridge Valley, PA.
