David Martin Con­sta­bel of Blue Bell.

David Martin Con­sta­bel, 84, of Blue Bell, and for­merly of North Wales, died on Saturday, July 29, 2017.

Born on July 31, 1932, in Gwynedd, PA, he was a son of the late Stephen and Doris (Ray) Con­sta­bel.

Mr. Con­sta­bel was hon­or­ably dis­charged from the U.S. Army, with the rank of cor­po­ral. He was on ac­tive duty from 2/12/53 to 2/16/55 and was sta­tioned in Darm­stadt, Ger­many. Mr. Con­sta­bel was a mem­ber of the 816th Field Ar­tillery Unit, where he was awarded a Good Con­duct Medal.

A car­pen­ter for 33 years, Mr. Con­sta­bel was a mem­ber of the United Brother­hood of Car­pen­ters, East­ern Dis­trict, PA. He built nu­mer­ous schools through­out the Delaware Val­ley and worked on the con­struc­tion of the Limerick Gen­er­at­ing Sta­tion for many years.

Mr. Con­sta­bel is sur­vived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Kath­leen (Wall) Con­sta­bel; his chil­dren Lisa Frankel, Lau­rie Olivieri, and Meg Con­sta­ble; six grand­chil­dren, Mia, Amanda, and Max Frankel and Made­line, De­clan, and Peighton Clugston; and sib­ling Joan Con­sta­bel of Lans­dale.

He was pre­ceded in death by two brothers and four sis­ters.
