David Martin Constabel of Blue Bell.
David Martin Constabel, 84, of Blue Bell, and formerly of North Wales, died on Saturday, July 29, 2017.
Born on July 31, 1932, in Gwynedd, PA, he was a son of the late Stephen and Doris (Ray) Constabel.
Mr. Constabel was honorably discharged from the U.S. Army, with the rank of corporal. He was on active duty from 2/12/53 to 2/16/55 and was stationed in Darmstadt, Germany. Mr. Constabel was a member of the 816th Field Artillery Unit, where he was awarded a Good Conduct Medal.
A carpenter for 33 years, Mr. Constabel was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters, Eastern District, PA. He built numerous schools throughout the Delaware Valley and worked on the construction of the Limerick Generating Station for many years.
Mr. Constabel is survived by his beloved wife of 59 years, Kathleen (Wall) Constabel; his children Lisa Frankel, Laurie Olivieri, and Meg Constable; six grandchildren, Mia, Amanda, and Max Frankel and Madeline, Declan, and Peighton Clugston; and sibling Joan Constabel of Lansdale.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and four sisters.
