Res­i­dents re­ceive white supremacy fliers

EAST GREENVILLE » A num- ber of res­i­dents of East Greenville have spoken with po­lice after re­ceiv­ing fliers ad­vo­cat­ing white supremacy.

Ac­cord­ing to East Greenville Bor­ough Po­lice’s Face­book page, po­lice were made aware of a large num­ber of fliers that went out to res­i­dents that ap­peared to ad­vo­cate white su­prem­a­cist mes­sages.

The fliers de­picted var­i­ous car­toons with phrases in­clud­ing, “white and proud” as well as im­ages of what ap­pear to be swastikas. Ac­cord­ing to res­i­dents, some of the mail was ad­dressed to “head of house­hold” while oth­ers were ad­dressed in ways that were spe­cific to their homes.

East Greenville Po­lice said Penn­syl­va­nia State Po­lice were also made aware of the in­ci­dent as well as the Mont­gomery County Dis­trict At­tor­ney’s Of­fice.

The D.A.’s of­fice has de­ter­mined that “no crime has been com­mit­ted,” ac­cord­ing to po­lice.
