Merck Sharp & Dohme Fed­eral Credit Union (MSDFCU) raised $20,000 for Se­bas­tian Rid­ing As­so­ciates and The Shep­herd’s Shelf. Each char­ity re­ceived half of the 18th An­nual New Bri­tain Char­i­ta­ble Foun­da­tion Char­ity Cow Plop pro­ceeds. Se­bas­tian Rid­ing As­so­ciates, Evans­burg State Park, Col­legeville, of­fers equine as­sisted ther­apy pro­grams for chil­dren and adults liv­ing with a va­ri­ety of phys­i­cal, men­tal health and in­tel­lec­tual dis­abil­i­ties. The Shep­herd’s Shelf, op­er­at­ing out of Christ Lutheran Church in Kulpsville, is an emer­gency food pantry serv­ing the North Penn and In­dian Val­ley ar­eas. Both charities ex­pressed their ap­pre­ci­a­tion for the fund­ing.
