Ap­ple­bee’s fundraiser nets over $275,000 for foun­da­tion

Re­cently, Ap­ple­bee’s Neigh­bor­hood Grill plus Bar lo­ca­tions in Montgomeryville (owned and op­er­ated by The Rose Group) teamed up to raise more than $275,000 for Alex’s Le­mon­ade Stand Foun­da­tion (ALSF) dur­ing their an­nual fundrais­ing cam­paign and over $3 mil­lion since the in­cep­tion of this fundraiser 13 years ago. This fundraiser is now a national ini­tia­tive for Ap­ple­bee’s restau­rants aimed to raise money and aware­ness of child­hood can­cer causes. Ap­ple­bee’s restau­rants sur­passed their $1 mil­lion goal and raised more than $1.3 mil­lion for the foun­da­tion this year.

Fundrais­ing ef­forts at Montgomeryville area Ap­ple­bee’s lo­ca­tions in­cluded do­nat­ing $.25 of each Sum­mer Squeeze, Le­mon­ade Quencher, frozen or fla­vored le­mon­ade sold dur­ing the cam­paign. They also sold lemon-shaped pin-up cards in $1 and $5 in­cre­ments. Guests that do­nated $5 or more were au­to­mat­i­cally en­tered to win a Free Ap­ple­bee’s for a Year prize pack­age.
