Applebee’s fundraiser nets over $275,000 for foundation
Recently, Applebee’s Neighborhood Grill plus Bar locations in Montgomeryville (owned and operated by The Rose Group) teamed up to raise more than $275,000 for Alex’s Lemonade Stand Foundation (ALSF) during their annual fundraising campaign and over $3 million since the inception of this fundraiser 13 years ago. This fundraiser is now a national initiative for Applebee’s restaurants aimed to raise money and awareness of childhood cancer causes. Applebee’s restaurants surpassed their $1 million goal and raised more than $1.3 million for the foundation this year.
Fundraising efforts at Montgomeryville area Applebee’s locations included donating $.25 of each Summer Squeeze, Lemonade Quencher, frozen or flavored lemonade sold during the campaign. They also sold lemon-shaped pin-up cards in $1 and $5 increments. Guests that donated $5 or more were automatically entered to win a Free Applebee’s for a Year prize package.
