Dr. Dominick Joseph Tocco, formerly of Lansdale

Dr. Dominick Joseph Tocco, of Gulfport, Fla., and formerly of Lansdale, PA, passed away peacefully at home on June 9, 2018 with his wife, Jerilyn and youngest son Brian by his side.

Dominick was born January 25, 1930 in Queens, NY, the son of Frank and Rose (D’Ambra) Tocco.

Dominick graduated from St. John’s University and Georgetown.

He served in the Army during the Korean War.

Wife, Yvonne Tocco preceded Dominick in death in 2004. He married Jerilyn Bukac Budinsky on December 23, 2006.

The family, along with many friends, has lost a wonderful human being. Dominick loved cooking for family and friends. He lived to make others happy. His sense of humor and love of life will be greatly missed.

Dominick was a pharmacological bio-chemist and retired from Merck.

Those will miss Dominick most include his wife, Jerilyn, sons: Dr. Donald Tocco (Dr. Amy), Gregory Tocco, Douglas Tocco, and Brian Tocco (Tina). Grandchildren: Brendon (Anne) Tocco, Matthew Tocco, Kristina Tocco, Cody Tocco. Great-grandchildren: Carmeron, Kayla, and Gavin Tocco. Stepsons: Thomas Budinsky (Connie), Douglas Budinsky (Cathy). Step-grandchildren: Kaitlyn Budinsky, Hanna Budinsky, Morgan Budinsky preceded Dominick in death 2015, Jenn Brown (Michael). Sister Phyliss Tocco preceded Dominick in death 1992. Brothers: Joseph Tocco (Angie) and Pete Tocco.

Service to celebrate Dominick’s life will be held on Friday, June 15th, at Most Holy Name of Jesus Catholic Church, 5800 15th Ave S., Gulfport, FL 33707 with Father George Iregi officiating. Legion of Mary will be reciting the rosaries at 9:30am. Viewing will be in the church Narthex at 10am with mass beginning at 11am. Burial will be at Memorial Park Cemetery.
