Alysha M. Bixler, Williamstown, received the Outstanding Academic Award for Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Scranton during post-baccalaureate degree commencement that was held in the Byron Recreation Complex.
Adeline Wolfe, Elizabethville, was inducted into Sigma Alpha Iota music fraternity at Susquehanna University, Selinsgrove.
Adeline is a mathematicssecondary education major and a member of the Class of 2020. A daughter of Tom and Dawn Wolfe, she is a 2016 graduate of Upper Dauphin Area High School.
Jenna Marinock, Mcadoo, a first-year doctor of medicine student at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine was among the students who received the first symbol of their new profession during the school’s ninth annual white coat ceremony for the Class of 2021 on Aug. 4 in Scranton.
Shauna Redanauer, Orwigsburg, was named a resident assistant at Alvernia University, Reading, for the 2017-18 academic year.
