PENNDOT plans roadwork in county
The state Department of Transportation warns motorists about work planned for this week in Schuylkill County. All work will be done between 7 a.m. and 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. The following work is slated: • Crews will do drainage work on Bucks Mountain Road in North Union Township, between state Route 339 and Ringtown Road. There will be lane restrictions with flagging. Other drainage work will be done on Valley Road between Buck Run and Heckscherville in Cass Township.
• PENNDOT will be patching potholes at state routes 309 and 209 in Tamaqua, as well as on Raven Run Road in West Mahanoy Township between state Route 54 and Village Road.
• A bridge will be under repair on Interstate 81 between the Route 61 and Delano exits. There will be lane restrictions in both directions.
• Other work, causing lane restrictions and flagging, will be done on Landingville Road in South Manheim Township between state Route 443 and Berne Drive; also on state Route 125 between Donaldson and Good Spring.
